This was an idea. Then a dream, then an idea, then a process, then a pain in the ass, then an all around joy, and now, it's an addiction. I always wanted to fully publish my books, but never could. Besides the fact of the money involved, I was scared. Scared shitless really. I had no idea what to do, but the passion was there so I kept working. Widdling through college I met a collection of incredibly talented and badass artists, then a seed was planted, and while I toiled at my own work, it started to grow. It took a long while, and lots of bone shattering, teethclenching, Cthulu-Insane work, but it was done. The Promethian Anthology was born. In my mind at least. I thought of the great anthology series, past and present like Marvel Comics Presents, DHP, Blab, Meathaus, and Monkeysuit, that I always thought was the pinnacle of comics, to see raw talent, new and open ready to perceive, from there you pick the diamonds out. Now I knew, at least, which way to go.
You don't know the excitement and pride I have presenting this book to you. These are artist from different backgrounds, different race, different points of view all huddled together in there collective coolness, to produce something for just that: the art of creating. So I invite you to come and enjoy this book with me. Because if you feel half as good, readding it as I did doing it, you will understand the true love of art that I feel.
